digi4Wirtschaft: digitalisation funding in Lower Austria

Draft. This page has not been editorially reviewed yet. The legal review is still pending.

You have a business in Lower Austria and want to carry out a digitalisation project? The State of Lower Austria and the Wirtschaftskammer Niederösterreich (WKNÖ, Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce) have relaunched the digi4Wirtschaft funding. According to the state, a total of EUR 2 million is available, one million each from the state and WKNÖ, and there is up to EUR 25,000 per project. Applications have been possible since 1 October 2026, 9 a.m., via the state’s business funding portal, while funds last, by 31 December 2026 at the latest (checked on 14 October 2026). The programme has three pillars: workshops (digi kickstart), consulting and the implementation of specific AI and digitalisation projects. The state publishes the exact criteria, funding rates and the application form on its programme page. The announcements retrieved did not say whether a new website or a website subscription counts as an implementation project. So read the criteria carefully before ordering. Because the budget is allocated in order of receipt, it pays to apply early.
